New Meghdoot Vidhya Vihar took its humble birth in 1992, thanks to the vision of Mr. P.D. Pandya, the Founder of New Meghdoot Vidhya Vihar. An educationist himself, he did not believe in replicating the traditional school. Mr. P.D. Pandya visualised ‘a school with a quality education’, endowed with material and human resources, which would match up to the best in the country.
The brainchild of Meghdoot Education Trust (R), Ahmedabad, the school was founded with the sole aim of serving the people by imparting quality education. Meghdoot Education Trust was founded in 1970 and provides quality education from pre-primary and primary to higher secondary, an English-medium school, B.Com, P.T.C. and Computer Application, furthering the intellectual and social growth of society. New Meghdoot Vidhya Vihar was founded in 1992 through the vision of the great educationist Mr. P.D. Pandya. In his words, ‘This campus and everything that you see here is the gift of God. We are mere instruments in His hands.’
New Meghdoot Vidhya Vihar strives to provide the best possible facilities to its students, including a highly qualified teaching faculty, with the aim of providing an education of the highest order. A streamlined administration, with Head Teachers for each section, ensures personalised teaching, while the school charges reasonable fees. The values ingrained here promote confidence, direction and critical-thinking skills, leading to well-adjusted, adaptable and integrated personalities.
A landmark of the school is providing equal educational opportunities to children of lower- and middle-income families. Children from every strata of society study here, which builds the strong sense of community that characterises the school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, caste or creed in its admission policy.
